New York’s Housing Works, a leading AIDS- service and advocacy organization, turned to The Dana Agency in 2017, 2018 and 2019 to make a statement with its Design on Dime event in Miami and New York in 2019. The two-day, star-studded benefit brings together the world’s most celebrated interior designers, influential tastemakers and celebrities to raise funds for Housing Works’ national campaign to end the AIDS epidemic. 

Unlike other Miami organizations, Design on a Dime brings an artistic element to a one-of-a-kind charity experience. To optimize impact, The Dana Agency first started building buzz by seeding interest with regional press with a sneak peek for some of the city’s most popular media influencers. We knew that once they saw the ornate presentation, they would take to social media to share the event, building buzz among their communities.

For the last three years, our agency has garnered over 107,100,942 impressions including regional and national broadcast, print and online placements. Due to our agency’s creative approach, we were hired to promote the Design on a Dime fundraiser in New York in 2019, bringing together local celebrities, benefactors and socialites for the opportunity to purchase high-end furniture to benefit organizations supporting AIDS research, treatment and prevention.
