Iconic Sagamore Brunch, Miami Art Week

Objective

The Dana Agency has helped sustain the reputation of The Sagamore Hotel’s iconic Art Week close-out brunch as one of the most sought-after invites for the last six years and a signature event for the international art world elite, including collectors, dealers and artists.

Approach

Each year, we curate a guest list of media, influencers and VIPs to attend the storied affair, consistently delivering the gold standard of the Miami Art Week experience. The Sagamore Art Brunch includes live performances by musicians and dancers, such as The Chophouse Band (led by Grammy Award-winning rock legend Jason Newsted, bassist for Metallica), Grace Arts and the Cuban Classical Ballet of Miami, the South Florida Symphony Orchestra, future-style performers from Nolcha Shows and more. Guests are treated to live painting demonstrations by artists like Noty Aroz and Pimax, as well as the immersive experiences that Sebastien Laboureau, The Sagamore’s visionary resident art advisor, curates for Art Week. Highlights have included Newsted’s solo show; FRAME, an incubator of art and immersion; sculptures by Australian artists Gillie and Marc presented by Expertisez.com and Appraise-Art.com; and a large butterfly sculpture by artist Rubem Robierb. The event has evolved to include fashion shows and NFT displays.

Results

We have secured sweeping national press coverage for the brunch, including Elle Décor’s “Five Best Parties at Art Basel This Year,” Forbes’ “The Complete Guide to The Art, Parties And Events at Art Basel Miami Beach And Art Week Miami” and Page Six’s “Art Basel Miami: Guide to the Biggest Parties and Events.”

The Dana Agency has been the PR Agency of Record for the Sagamore Art Brunch every year since 2018.
