International Artist Elisabetta Fantone Takes Over National Hotel for Miami Art Week 

Objective

The Dana Agency secured a partnership between National Hotel Miami Beach and international pop artist, actress and model Elisabetta Fantone to showcase her playful pop art exhibition on property during Miami Art Week. A complete takeover with a variety of art pieces and installations consumed the Art Deco hotel’s interior and exterior spaces, including the iconic infinity pool, the restaurant and one of the luxury Cabana Suites.

Approach

Fantone’s work was also showcased in unconventional places throughout the hotel and celebrated with a cocktail launch party, a pop-up retail shop in the hotel’s Martini Room with limited-edition items and a closing brunch during the week of Art Basel. During the kickoff event, Fantone revealed her latest collection and spoke about her second watch collaboration with high-end Swiss timepiece manufacturer Corum. Guests enjoyed one-of-a-kind art displays, live entertainment, signature Art Basel cocktails and bites from Tamara’s Bistro. As a preview to her upcoming collection, Fantone wore a dress made in collaboration with renowned French designer Marie Saint Pierre.

Results

The launch event was attended by more than 500 Miami art supporters and buyers and garnered over 50 media placements, including four magazine feature spreads, as well as local, arts, lifestyle, travel and national press coverage that led to millions of media impressions for the hotel and artist. Placements included Vanity Fair, New York Post, ABC, Ocean Drive, South Florida Luxury Guide, WLRN, El Nuevo Herald, Galerie, Indulge, Miami Living and TravelPulse.
