The Dana Agency believes that equality and justice are basic human rights. We know that dismantling racism isn’t a short-term commitment and now is the time to put our voices into action.
Thus, in response to the mounting crises of COVID-19 and the murders of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, Tony McDade, McHale Rose, Ahmaud Arbery and Elijah McClain and the countless others whose lives were stolen by police brutality and racism, we are extending support to the Black community by launching pro-bono PR and marketing services for BIPOC and LGBTQ+ owned small businesses and organizations across the nation.
The agency will be choosing a new company to represent every quarter, starting with Q4 of this year (October 1 – December 31, 2020). Our pro-bono campaign is free and open to the public. The next deadline to submit an application is December 21 for a 2021 Q1 campaign.
As a firm we are committed to fighting systemic racism. In addition to offering pro-bono PR and marketing services, we founded a Diversity Committee to create a more diverse and inclusive environment at our agency by not only diversifying our team and client portfolio, but also supporting community organizations that are creating a just and equal society for all marginalized lives.
These efforts align with our mission to use our talents, network and resources to positively impact marginalized communities, such as BIPOC and LGBTQ+, both internally at our agency and externally through the industries we do business with and within our community. If you are a BIPOC or LGBTQ+ owned small business based in the U.S. who may benefit from these free professional services and would like to apply, or know a company who is well deserving of these services, please fill out the application here.
